Madeira Summer 2025
A working retreat for nutritional therapists on an organic farm above the Atlantic. Two days with Dr Sarah Myhill, movement in the mornings, and time in the laurel forest.

A small group of nutritional therapists comes to Quinta dos Artistas, an organic farm above the sea on the north coast of Madeira, for four quiet days of learning and slow living. Mornings start gently. The middle of the week holds a two-day workshop with Dr Sarah Myhill. Around all of it is the island: laurel forest, mineral springs, and the Atlantic a short walk down the hill.
It’s a working retreat, though an unhurried one. Good food, movement in the mornings, real teaching in the middle of the day, and a landscape that does the rest. The kind of few days where what you learn has somewhere to settle.
The workshop
Two days with Dr Sarah Myhill, in an informal setting with the sun out and plenty of room for questions.
Community & networking
Time with fellow nutritional therapists to share what you're seeing in practice, and quieter hours alongside Dr Myhill and each other.
Relaxation
Breathwork, mindful movement, and heart-centred practices to settle the body and quiet the mind.
Time in nature
A guided hike through Madeira's laurel forest and down to the coast, and space to let the week land.

The setting does a lot of the work. Quinta dos Artistas is a small organic farm, rustic and comfortable, with much of the food grown or sourced close by. Madeira gives you fresh air, spring water straight off the mountain, and a laurel forest that feels older than anywhere. Clean air, good water, and quiet do more for a tired body than we tend to give them credit for.
